Boxcold has come a long way, a way characterized by commitment, research and passion that aims to great design and creation projects. Started as an installation and maintenance company for refrigerating units, Boxcold has grown in the last twenty years becoming a leading company worldwide in the production of commercial/industrial cold rooms concerning all the sectors of the manufacture, the transformation and the storage of both “food” and “non-food” products.
The designers of the Boxcold technical department use the most modern solutions of 2D and 3D design software to realize products constantly innovative and of quality. They not only supply the material, but they also study and develop every technical solution that could lead to new projects.

1995
The Boxcold project starts with the creation of small, medium and large refrigeration systems for major brands such as Motta, Algida, Sammontana.
2005
Construction of the first Boxcold building
2007
- Production and sale throughout Italy of the first modular cold rooms. - First shows of Boxcold products at major national and international trade fairs and events such as Host and Chillventa. - New technological era with the introduction of revolutionary CNC machines.
2017
Company introduction of a new 3D configurator. This software allows you to quickly design and estimate Boxcold products via a computer, supporting both the company and customers.
2022
Construction of Coldyfor building
2023
Start of the design, production and sale of refrigeration systems with the new brand Coldyfor.
Cold rooms
The cold room components are put together by means of an assembly system made of “male-female” eccentric hooks and line-ups that allow a perfect tightening and alignment. Furthermore, during the foaming process, a foam rubber gasket is inserted along the perimeter to guarantee an excellent seal between the panels and the components. The foam rubber is a material used particularly for the insulation of both strongly strained surfaces and thermal bridges.
The junction between edge and ceiling is simplified by specific supports that ensure a complete safety assembly and the highest final yield. Particular PUR-corner caps are used between vertical/horizontal edges and floor/ceiling edges in order to avoid possible thermal bridges among the components.

The modularity allows a strong customization of the cold rooms that can be made in different ways also depending on the choices of the individual products that complete the project.
Configurator
Boxcold team has a brand new system completely automized for the 3D configuration and for the quotation of the cold rooms. This configurator allows both the sales departments and the customers to realize in a simple and simultaneous way projects and offers for one or more standard and non-standard cold rooms, of different thicknesses, dimensions, complete with accessories, mobile and/or fixed dividing walls, and countless other options and solutions.
The 3D configurator is a unique service that Boxcold directly offers to the customer through a special license. It offers a Professional version, to be used within the company, and a Lite version provided to customers and distributors through an activation password.

Sustainability
Boxcold has become more and more aware of its actions and daily declares its commitment and responsibility so that business development is always in the perspective of sustainability.
For Coldyfor refigeration units, we are also working towards sustainability. It is in fact a Green proposal because it provides new gases with reduced environmental impact R290 - A2L, with GWP (Global Warming Potential) 150.
